The seller lists AltBurn Keto at AUD 73.95 to AUD 121.95 a bottle on average, with free shipping and a 60-day guarantee. Here is what that means per day, what the refund terms involve in practice and what rights you keep under Australian law.
Before you pay for AltBurn Keto, it helps to turn the pack prices into a cost per day, know what the seller says about delivery and returns, and know what rights you keep under Australian law whatever the seller's terms say. Everything below that comes from the seller is labelled "according to the seller". Prices and terms can change, so check the final checkout page, not this guide.
What does AltBurn Keto cost?
| Item | What the seller says |
|---|---|
| Price per bottle | AUD 73.95 to AUD 121.95 across three pack sizes. The seller's note says these are the average price per bottle for the total number of bottles in each package. |
| Pack structure | Checkout shows buy 2 get 1 free and buy 3 get 2 free |
| Shipping | Free |
| Processing and delivery | Ships in 2 to 3 days, delivery in 5 to 10 business days |
| Guarantee | 60-day money-back guarantee |
| Contents | 30 capsules per bottle, 2 capsules per day, so 15 days per bottle |
The detail that trips people up is the word "average". Because the free bottles are already spread across the pack, the price shown is not what a single bottle costs on its own and it is not the amount that leaves your card. Your card is charged the pack total. As an illustration only, if a five-bottle pack averaged AUD 73.95 a bottle the total would be AUD 369.75, and if a three-bottle pack averaged AUD 121.95 a bottle it would be AUD 365.85. Those are examples to show the arithmetic, not confirmed prices. Read the total on the checkout page and make sure it is in Australian dollars.
What does it cost per day?
Our assumptions: a bottle has 30 capsules, you take 2 a day as the seller directs, so each bottle lasts 15 days. We use the two ends of the seller's range and ignore shipping, which the seller says is free. We have not added anything for bank fees or currency conversion, since the prices are shown in AUD.
| Average per bottle | Per day | Per 30 days (2 bottles) | Per 12 weeks (84 days, 5.6 bottles) |
|---|---|---|---|
| AUD 73.95 | about AUD 4.93 | AUD 147.90 | about AUD 414 |
| AUD 121.95 | about AUD 8.13 | AUD 243.90 | about AUD 683 |
So the realistic range is roughly AUD 5 to AUD 8 a day, or AUD 150 to AUD 245 a month. Whether that is good value is your call, but two points are worth holding on to. First, the lowest average per bottle is probably tied to the biggest pack (check which price belongs to which pack on the seller's page), and five bottles is about 75 days of capsules bought up front. Second, the seller's own directions are the only guide we have to the dose, and a capsule is not a substitute for changing what you eat. If you are weighing it against other ways of spending the same money on food or advice, our keto diet guide and the dietitian information in it are a good place to start.
Free shipping and delivery times
According to the seller, shipping is free, orders ship in 2 to 3 days and delivery takes 5 to 10 business days. Add those together and you could be waiting about two weeks from order to doorstep, and longer if you live somewhere remote or a public holiday falls in the window. We could not confirm where the goods ship from. Do not plan around a delivery date, and if you need the capsules for a particular reason, such as a trip, be aware that a chemist can give you same-day advice where a parcel cannot. Keep the tracking number if the seller provides one.
The 60-day money-back guarantee, and how it works
The seller states a 60-day guarantee. On the home page, the terms are that the buyer pays the return postage and that the refund is issued after the seller receives the product, whether used or unused. In practice that means:
- Work out the start date. Check whether the 60 days count from the order date or the delivery date. If it is not clear in writing, ask.
- Keep everything. Keep the bottle, the packaging, the order confirmation and any tracking number.
- Contact the seller in writing first. Email so you have a record. Ask for the return address and any reference number before you post anything.
- Post it with tracking. The refund only starts once the product has been received, so proof of postage and delivery protects you.
- Check your statement. Confirm the refund lands and for how much. Do not assume the return postage is refunded unless the seller says so in writing.
Return postage matters more than it looks. If you buy five bottles and send them back, you may spend a noticeable sum on postage before you see a cent. That is one reason we suggest starting small, as covered in our guide on how to take AltBurn Keto capsules. We also could not confirm who runs the business. The checkout footer lists a business name and a Queensland address, but we cannot say whether returns go to that address, so ask before you pay.
The auto-refill checkbox
The seller's checkout has a box to enrol in an automatic refill service. If it is ticked and you do not untick it, you may be charged again on a schedule. Look at the box before you press the final button, untick it if you do not want repeat shipments, and read the order confirmation for any mention of a subscription, refill or recurring charge. Then check your card statement a few weeks later. If you see a charge you did not agree to, contact the seller in writing straight away and ask your bank about it.
Your rights under Australian Consumer Law
Whatever the seller's own terms say, the Australian Consumer Law gives you automatic consumer guarantees. According to the ACCC, when you buy a product you are entitled to expect, among other things, acceptable quality, that it is fit for a particular purpose and that it matches its description. The ACCC also says a business cannot take those rights away with a "no refunds" sign, by saying it is not responsible for problems, or by sending you to the manufacturer. If a product fails a guarantee you can ask for a repair, replacement or refund depending on how serious the problem is.
Two limits are worth knowing. Consumer guarantees do not cover a simple change of mind. The ACCC says that if a business has its own change-of-mind policy it must follow it, which is where a seller's 60-day guarantee comes in. And the ACCC says it does not resolve individual disputes, so you will usually need to deal with the seller first. If the seller is based overseas, enforcing your rights in practice can be harder, which is another reason to confirm the company's identity before you buy.
If something goes wrong
- Write to the seller. The checkout footer lists support details, including a phone number. Use email as well so there is a written record. Say what happened, what you want and by when.
- Ask your bank or card provider. Explain what happened and ask whether a dispute or chargeback is possible. Time limits apply, so do not leave it for months.
- Contact your state or territory consumer agency. For example, NSW Fair Trading, or the equivalent in your state. They can advise on your options.
- Report it. Anyone can report a consumer issue to the ACCC, and Scamwatch takes reports about suspected scams. Reports help the regulators spot patterns even when they cannot resolve your case.
- If it is about your health, see your GP or pharmacist first and, where appropriate, report a side effect to the TGA. Our side effects guide explains what to watch for.
A checkout safety checklist
- Take a screenshot of the final order page showing the total, the currency, the shipping cost and the pack you chose.
- Read the refund policy and terms before you pay, and save a copy or screenshot of them.
- Untick the automatic refill box if you do not want repeat orders.
- Note the name that appears as the charge on your statement and compare it with what you expect.
- Save the confirmation email and any tracking number.
- Check your statement again after about 30 days for any charge you did not expect.
- Ignore the pressure on the seller's page. A countdown clock, a "sell out risk" label and recent-purchase pop-ups are page features, not evidence of anything about the product, and none of them should speed up your decision.
We also could not verify the seller's claims of "over 4,800 Australians" or a star rating, so we do not rely on them. For a wider look at what we could and could not confirm, see our legitimacy review.
